OUR CLIENT ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A TILER IN BEXLEY.

Doing a 7 square meter small bathroom, with normal white tiles

Duties

• Measure and mark surfaces to be tiled and calculate the number of tiles needed
• Prepare surfaces by removing old tiles, grout, or adhesive
• Mix and apply mortar or other adhesives to secure tiles in place
• Cut, shape, and polish tiles using hand tools or power tools
• Align and straighten tiles using levels, squares, and plumb lines
• Apply grout between tiles and remove excess grout using sponges or other tools
• Install tile trim and edge strips to create a finished look
• Clean and maintain tools and equipment used in tile installation

Experience

• Proven experience as a tile setter or similar role
• Knowledge of different types of tiles, adhesives, and grouts
• Familiarity with tile installation techniques and best practices
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints or design plans
• Strong attention to detail and precision in tile placement
• Good physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

Job Type: Temporary contract

Salary: £22.00-£25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Tiling: 5 years (required)
