Our client is seeking a roofer to join their team in London

Duties:

• Inspect roofs for damage and determine the best course of action
• Remove old roofing materials and prepare the roof for installation
• Install new roofing materials, such as shingles, tiles, or metal sheets
• Repair or replace damaged or missing shingles or tiles
• Seal roof penetrations, such as vents or chimneys, to prevent leaks
• Clean and maintain work area and equipment

Requirements

• Proven experience as a roofer or in a similar role
• Knowledge of different roofing materials and installation techniques
• Ability to safely use and maintain roofing tools and equipment
• Physical stamina and ability to work at heights
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Salary: Up to £20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Overtime

Experience:

• Roofing: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• CSCS (required)
• Asbestos Awareness (preferred)
