Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Tiler to join our team. You will be responsible for installing various types of tiles in a commercial settings.

Duties:

• Measure and mark surfaces to be tiled
• Cut tiles to the appropriate size and shape using hand tools or power tools
• Prepare surfaces by removing old tiles, grout, or adhesive
• Mix and apply mortar or adhesive to secure tiles in place
• Set tiles in position and align them properly
• Apply grout between tiles and remove excess grout
• Install tile trim and edge strips as needed
• Inspect finished work to ensure quality and accuracy
• Repair or replace damaged tiles as necessary

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Tiler
• Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and tile cutting equipment
• Strong knowledge of different types of tiles, adhesives, and grouts
• Ability to read and interpret schematics or blueprints
• Attention to detail and precision in tile placement
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, kneel, and lift heavy materials as required
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary contract

Salary: £20.00-£22.00 per hour

• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Tile Setting: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• CSCS (required)
